A Walk In The Park

We finished dinner and decided to take the kids out on a drive to see the Christmas light up at the Singapore Botanic Gardens.

When we got there, the place was dark and almost deserted.

That's when we were wrong. As we ventured deeper inside in the direction of the bandstand, the bushes suddenly opened to throngs of people and beautifully lit trees!!

It was the perfect weather for the stroll, a slight gentle breeze after the sun is done for the day.

We see people laying mats on the lawns, just sitting there enjoying the night sky. Such serenity in the middle of a bustling city. You don't get to enjoy this type of peace any more these day.

So anyway, we decided to take a few pictures of the kids and I had to delete many photos as almost all of the initial photos of Faith had her eyes closed. Perhaps it was the pitch darkness of the environment, the blinding of the camera flash was too overwhelming for her.

Don't look at the tiny size of my Lumix, the flash does pack quite a punch.

Just when we thought we are not going to get any good photos for the night, Faith had a solution...

Yup, every photo of her thereafter became like that. *facepalm*
