I realised when I was away on my business trip in the US, I kinda fell off the chat radar. Either people come on line when I was sleeping (time zone difference) or they come online at a time when I was engaged in meetings (I can't be bothered to switch off my wireless and hence picking up all the free wireless signals).I supposed the sudden absent puts quite a big dent in the routine pattern of yakking with friends. I do hope that no one mistakes me to be hiding from you.
I'm not. So there.
Anyway, I was catching up with a friend (let's call her Leaky) when I discovered that she thought I "didn't want to be friends with her anymore" and hence the "radio silence".
Silly girl.
You guys never cease to surprise me. That's why I enjoyed talking to all of you so much. :)
And that's brings me to my next point. The fact that Leaky thought that way certainly reaffirms my earlier blog posts (here and here) about online friendship. That they can come in fast and really close to your core centre of friendship while at the same time able to slide away just as fast unless you are able to anchor it somehow.That's it for today. A short entry with a long ponder.

p.s. I am going to be away again for the next 2 weeks or so from tomorrow. So pardon me if I missed you guys again. Not hiding. Really.
