Yellow Stars or White Stars?

This cartoon was printed in the South Ch1na Morning Post dated 1 Sep 2006 as a sort of mocking satire protest. This was a day after Ch1ng Cheong, $traits Times' Ch1na correspondent, got sentenced to 5 years in prison on charges of spying for Ta1wan.

Here's the strange thing, the cartoon was meant to depict the high handedness of the Ch1na Gahmen in suppressing press freedom and the button on the sleeve, had this cartoon be in colour, would have been RED background with YELLOW stars.

What I saw in it was a totally different thing and decided to add a bit of colour brush strokes to it.

I threw in a bit of red here and a dash of white there..
