Position Available: Security Guard Dog

This scruffy little dog showed up at our factory just a couple of days ago. A quiet and well-behaved dog that just wandered into the factory. The unusual thing about it is that it headed straight for my security guard house and sat there as if to assume its guard dog position. It doesn't bark nor growl at our guys. I think the dog knows that the workers are part of the factory.

There is definitely something special about this dog and the timing is impeccable. What better way to welcome the Year of the Dog by welcoming this dog into our factory?

While I would like to take this as an auspicious sign, I was mercilessly scoffed at by hitomi for being pang tang.

Well, be it mere coincidence or divine interpretation, we are keeping this dog.

Jaschocolate: Not just dog. They eat every damn thing!
The running joke is that if the thing's back faces the sun. It is edible.

Anna: Yeah. We were having 12 deg weather at the time of the photo. We wanted to let it sit inside the guard house where it's warmer but the dog just wanted to snooze outside. Oh well.

Yeah man. They eat everything that flies except planes. And everything that has legs, except tables and chairs. Is the dog fed anyway?

ZheBin: Yeah. The security team is taking turns tending to the puppy.

Pam and Jaslyn: I remember some of the older cars have a plug that you can pull out of the front to connect to the wall power outlet to keep the battery warm and prevent it from getting frozen.

Heather: Will do that when we get back from our vacation. Besides, the vets are all closed for the CNY anyway.

Akk: Sorry to disappoint you but no Pedigree or Pal dog food for the pup. Not in Ch1na anyway.

mht: Well said. That's why I took the picture with zoom from far far away. Didn't want to kachow it.

Gabbie: Happy New Year To You too! I like both cats and dogs but I think I favour the canines a little bit more than the felines.
