This SalesGirl Got Balls

Yesterday was the Dragon Boat Festival (端午节) and it's an official public holiday here in Spitland.

As my rule of thumb, it also marks the start of the summer, of which it ends on the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节).

Also another rule of thumb is that whenever there is a public holiday here, stay indoors coz the number of people out of the streets during holidays is really really horrible!

So anyway, it just so happened that our cordless phone at home konked out and we had to send it back to the shop for repair. Thus no choice but to squeeze with people out on the streets.

The shop is like your Best Denki in Singapore except that it is 5 times bigger. So try to picture the number of people in Best Denki on a public holiday in Singapore. Yes, now multiply that magnitude by 5.

Now here's the girl (left) that caught my eye. Business was very brisk and all the sales people have had their hands full trying to close one deal after another.

All except this girl who was glued to the computer monitor. Her booth is one of those promotional booths where customers can go online and download free software, ringtone or wallpaper etc.

I took a closer look and realised that she was chatting on MSN and in full view of the public! Oh the audacity!!

I am not sure if she has no customers because her booth didn't appeal to the public or perhaps customers turned away when they see her chatting online during working hours.

You have to give it to her. This girl's got balls. It was as if she was baiting the management to give her to sack.

Walau! A winnar ish she!

p.s. Anyway, pardon the lousy picture quality and I was using my mobile phone to take it and from quite a bit of distance away lest I get spotted trying to take her picture.

Grasshopper: Your chinatown should have them right? Go for the Ta1wan ones and not the HongKong version. The former is must better.
